Admission Overview

Admissions at New Bharath Matriculation Higher Secondary School are conducted in a transparent and systematic manner, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible students. Admission is granted based on eligibility criteria, age requirements, and availability of seats, strictly following the norms prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Matriculation system.

Classes Open for Admission

• Pre-Primary (Pre-KG, LKG, UKG)
• Primary (Classes I – V)
• Middle School (Classes VI – VIII)
• High School (Classes IX & X)
• Higher Secondary (Classes XI & XII) (subject to availability and eligibility)

Eligibility Criteria

Admission eligibility is determined as per age norms and academic requirements prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Age Requirements (as on 31st July of the academic year):

• LKG – Minimum 3 years
• UKG – Minimum 4 years
• Class I – Minimum 5 years
• Higher classes – Based on completion of the previous standard from a recognised school

Admission Procedure

1. Parents are required to collect the admission form from the school office.
2. The completed application form must be submitted along with required documents.
3. Interaction or assessment may be conducted for higher classes, if necessary.
4. Admission confirmation is subject to verification of records and seat availability.
5. Once admission is confirmed, parents must complete the fee payment within the stipulated time.

• Birth Certificate (copy)
• Transfer Certificate (for Classes II and above)
• Previous School Progress Report
• Community Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photographs of the student
• Aadhar copy (student)

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction is English, with Tamil and other languages taught as per the curriculum norms of the Matriculation system.

Fee Structure & Payment

The fee structure is decided by the management and communicated to parents at the time of admission. Fees must be paid within the specified dates. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Parents are requested not to send fees through students. Digital payment options are encouraged as informed by the school office.
